A prestigious collection, L’Or de Jean Martell – Zodiac Edition opens with L’Assemblage du Tigre in celebration of 2022’s namesake symbol.
The edition is presented in a magnificent crystal carafe, exquisitely decorated with a gold filigree motif.
A superb amber-hued pâte de cristal stopper comes with each L’Or de Jean Martell carafe, handcrafted by Manufacture Daum, a renowned French crystal producer with a tradition of savoir-faire that mirrors Maison Martell’s own.
Each one-off, individually signed piece requires several hours of painstaking work by skilled artisans.

Product History
Martell, the oldest of the great Cognac houses, was founded by Jean Martell in 1715 at the height of French Art de Vivre, when gastronomy, taste and craftsmanship were celebrated and enjoyed with style. These became the three pillars of the House of Martell and remain intrinsic to the Martell vision today. Since 1715, Martell has produced, exported and marketed cognacs which are recognized worldwide for their outstanding quality and finesse, obtained through double distillation of exclusively clear wines and aging in fine-grainedoak barrels.
Tasting Note
Color: A rich amber colour with shimmering highlights.
Nose: Luscious aromas of honey, vine peach and apricot, complemented by notes of fig, almonds and walnuts.
Taste: Intense fruity aromas predominate amid an impression of fullness, balance, power and elegance, which continues into a remarkably long finish.
For the House icon, Martell Cordon Bleu, renowned as a rich expression of the rare Borderies terroir, Mathilde de L'Ecotais overlaid an image of grapes and vines leaves with sweeping circular brush strokes to evoke the famously round, generous flavours of this legendary cognac. The Martell Cordon Bleu bottle, transformed by sumptuous tones of gold and blue, is presented on a pedestal with a luxurous case, emphasizing its iconic status.
L'Or de Jean Martell is the precisous union of over 400 extremely rare eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne and Borderies, some over a century old, served in a hand-crafted crystal decanter.
